Bought Ewisoft 2 years ago to try building a website for my church. No knowledge of HTML before
hand. As a newbie to web building, it was nice to try the program before buying it which sold me.
It's very easy to use, and the template assortment is "decent". Unlike other programs where
templates cost hundreds, i believe that $40 is reasonable for what you get. There is enough
flexibility to make adjustments and have a custom look to it, which i like. My church site has
reached 1 Gig of data, but our video files (which are around 30 gigs total) and stream through the
site are hosted elsewhere and we love how it works.
The commerce section of the site is easy
to use. Considering how "simple" the program looks, the longer I use it, the more I realize how
powerful it is. I HIGHLY recommend this program for those who want a program that can make nice
little sites with not a lot of learning. Like Sheila, I agree when she says its a trial and error
program for beginners. I've taught others to use the program and everyone else seems to agree who
now use it as well.
I have been using EWISOFT ecommerce for about 1 1/2 years. At first, I kept getting pissed off at
the people who wrote the program because I didn't think the program had much to offer for the price
I paid. I still use the ecommerce software program. I have to use another FTP program because my
site is getting larger and larger and evidently EWISOFT can't handle the load for publishing. Other
than that, I now find that the program has a lot to offer and I keep finding all kinds of ways of
adding to my website. This program is basically a trial and error program for beginners. In other
words, you have to fish for what you are looking to do and while you are doing that, you will find
other neat little things happen. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants variety in
creating an ecommerce website. There aren't many out there that you can just buy without having to
pay a monthly fee to use. It's yours once you pay for it and you can take as long as you need to
create it!
